The GLOBAL School Consulting Group and GLOBAL School Searches are pleased to join the Christian International School of Prague school in announcing the successful recruitment and appointment of Jodi Oppenhuizen as the school’s new Director. Jodi studied Christian Education and Bible at Taylor University; earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Colombia International University in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Intercultural Studies; and completed a Master’s Degree from La Salle University in Clinical Counseling Psychology. Congratulations to Jodi Oppenhuizen on her appointment.

GLOBAL School Searches and the GLOBAL School Consulting Group are pleased to join the Quisqueya Christian School Foundation Board of Trustees in announcing the appointment of Natalie A. Witherspoon as the next Head of School of QCS. Ms. Witherspoon, who was selected from among several qualified and experienced educators and school leaders, will begin her service at QCS on August 1, 2022. Ms. Witherspoon earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Indianapolis and is completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from Purdue University. She has a broad range of experience in public and private schools in the United States and has proven success in maximizing student achievement in diverse school contexts. In addition to her classroom experience, Natalie has served in leadership roles across several campuses. She brings passion, vitality, knowledge, experience, Christian worldview, faith commitment, and a desire to minister through the leadership position at QCS. Quisqueya Christian School (QCS) is a non-denominational, college preparatory, Christian, American School located just outside of Port-au-Prince, the capital city of Haiti. The school serves the English-speaking population of Port-au-Prince, which includes the children of missionaries, non-governmental and international organizations, diplomats, business, and professional families, and prepares students for the changing Haitian and global workforce. Admissions is selective, English is the language of instruction, and all students follow an American Curriculum and receive an American high school diploma. The faculty of QCS is degreed and the majority is recruited from the United States and Canada. GLOBAL School Searches and the GLOBAL School Consulting Group are pleased to join the Crossroads Christian Academy Board in announcing the appointment of Mrs. Jamie C. Jodrey as the new Director of CCA. Jamie, selected from among several qualified and experienced educators and school leaders, is taking on the leadership role as preparation begins for the 2022-23 school year. Mrs. Jodrey has served as the Elementary Principal of Crossroads since 2015 and has already begun the transition to the Director position, as she was named Interim Director to provide leadership during the final stages of the search and selection process. She earned an undergraduate degree from Messiah College in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Scranton, both in Pennsylvania. Before becoming a principal at CCA, Jamie was an elementary teacher at the Wesleyan Academy in Puerto Rico (her alma mater), then at CCA. Jamie has a long-term commitment to CCA’s mission, vision, and values and brings an insider’s understanding of the operation of CCA and its programs and services. Crossroads Christian School was founded as a ministry of Crossroads Bible Church in 1997 and is now fully accredited by the Middle States Association and the Association of Christian Schools International and is fully authorized by the Ministry of Education in Panama (MEDUCA). The school is an English-instruction Christian school, providing a U.S.-style educational program. CCA shares facilities with Crossroads Bible Church. The school’s student population represents twenty-four nationalities. Nearly half of the students are Panamanian; about a third are children of long-term residents of Panama; and the remainder are children of families temporarily in Panama from various countries for diplomacy, banking, humanitarian work, import/export, and tourism. Most of the school’s faculty members are from the United States, although several are from Panama and other countries. Congratulations to Jamie Jodrey, the School Board, and the school community as they begin a new chapter of CCA’s ministry under the leadership of Mrs. Jodrey.

GLOBAL School Searches and the GLOBAL School Consulting Group are pleased to join the Board of the Pan American Christian Academy in announcing the appointment of Mr. Stephen Meier as the next Superintendent of PACA. Stephen, selected from among several qualified and experienced educators and school leaders, will be stepping into the role during the transition to the 2022-23 school year. Mr. Stephen is uniquely qualified for the position. He and his wife Cristina were students in international Christian schools, and have vibrant Christian testimonies and a deep commitment to International Christian Education. Stephen has served as Head of School at Brazosport Christian School (Texas) and Hope International School (China), and he has Principal experience at Alliance Academy International (Ecuador) and Oasis International School (Turkey). Stephen earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Liberty University, including a B.S. in Biblical Studies, MAR in Pastoral Counselling, MRE in Counselling, and a MEd in Administration and Supervision. PACA is a Christian academy offering American and Brazilian curricula in São Paulo. We work with an average of 345 students from different parts of the world with an American-style PreK-12 Program. Since 1960, PACA has served the local and international community of São Paulo. The PACA Superintendent reports to the Board of Trustees and is accountable for inspiring and directing the administrative and instructional staff in setting and achieving the highest standards of excellence so that each student may be provided with an educational program of the highest quality. The Superintendent will also efficiently oversee and administer all programs, facilities, property, and funds. GLOBAL School Searches and the GLOBAL School Consulting Group are pleased to join the Board of the BridgeWay North American School in announcing the appointment of Mr. Kevin Passafiume as the next Director of BridgeWay. Kevin, selected from other qualified and experienced educators and school leaders, will be stepping into the 2022-23 school year role. BridgeWay is in Mexico City, Mexico. Kevin and his wife Amy will be relocating from Hanoi, where Kevin has most recently served as the Transformation Lead in the Office of the Superintendent of The Dewey Schools. In addition, he has previously served as Deputy Head of English Programs at TDS; Teacher, Counsellor, and Communications and Policy Advisor at Daystar Academy in Beijing, China; and as a Teacher at American Creativity Academy in Kuwait. Kevin’s prior experience was primarily in government service in Canada, where he held Senior Advisor and Manager posts in different government ministries. His professional preparation includes undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Education, a master’s in Counselling, and coursework toward a Doctor of Education degree. In addition, Kevin has experience, training, and certificates in leadership, management, communication, change management, education, accreditation, teaching, and strategic position, all of which qualify him uniquely for leadership of this emerging international Christian School. The Board of BridgeWay, in its announcement to the school community, communicated their excitement about Kevin’s appointment, indicating, “Kevin brings a great deal of experience that is essential for the ongoing growth and excellence of BridgeWay, which will greatly serve our families and students” and that Kevin will help to “bring BridgeWay into the future.” As Director of the BridgeWay North American School, Kevin will lead a team of teachers and staff to see children and families impacted through transformational education. BridgeWay loves and equips students by providing a values-based bilingual education taught primarily by Canadian, American, and Mexican teachers in preparation for Mexican, American, and Canadian universities. Congratulations to Kevin, the BridgeWay School Board, and the school community as they begin a new chapter of the School’s ministry under Kevin’s leadership.
