Director of International School (Principal) | Africa

Digital Consultants • May 31, 2026

FAITH-BASED | SUPPORT RAISING WITH RENT STIPEND | START DATE: AUGUST 2026 | The Director (Principal) will provide overall direction and supervision for the secondary school and secondary staff of the international school in North Africa, and will report to the Executive Director. Experience is preferred, but not required.

School Profile

This international school is located in North Africa and is the only one of its kind in the city. The school was founded in 2018 with only three local students. Over the past eight years, it has grown to well over 100 students in Preschool Through 6th grade, with a plan to increase by one grade each year until the high school is completed. School year (2025-2026), the Middle School (grades 6-7) will be opened.

Even though this is an international school and there are students from countries such as the US, Korea, and Ukraine, 90% of the student body is North African. Students come to school without knowing any English.  English is used throughout the day for all instruction and provides students with many opportunities to immerse themselves in the language and master it. By the time students reach the upper grades, if they've been in the school since Preschool, they can read, write, and speak English fluently!

Because the school is located in a predominantly Muslim country, it is not a Christian school. However, all Expat staff are Christian believers and use their Christian worldview to provide instruction in each subject area. This often leads to in-depth discussions about faith and worldviews. The school intentionally uses opportunities to share about faith in and outside the classroom and has seen tremendous interest from staff, students, and their families.

Most staff are North African, and conversations around truth and grace often arise when addressing student issues. The families at the school have enjoyed their child's education in both their academic and character development and look forward to watching the school expand in the future!  Specific information about the school and city will be shared with qualified prospects.
